Problems with Slik Stik?

Has anyone had any problems with slik stik in the past with getting their products?
i placed and order on 04-Mar-2004 and i still havent gotten word other than the order confirmation i recieved the day of the order..
that was 11 days ago   
Im not sure how i should handle this, but i sure as hell didnt see any "please allow for several weeks lead time" on the site when i made my purchase.
Just how long should i wait before i assum ive been ripped off...
i got a couple T+ Mazak QT's here, i could have spat out a lot of 1000 by now..
in fact if someone from Slik Stik reads this and the problem is the manufacturing load id be willing to offer a quote to help with that.

You're not getting ripped off.  It takes them a while to ship, from everything I've heard and read.  My buddy waited six weeks for his SS to ship, which I think is unusual but can happen.   Hopefully you didn't ask for any unusual color scheme...

There have been several posts similar to yours in the last two weeks.  You may want to search for those.

but its just a 304 Stainless steel pear top joystick..its not like its a an entire control panel or anything.something one would think at least would simply be onshelf.

I ordered a spinner from them late last week. Haven't heard anything from them yet, but I'll post when I do.

I had no problems with them... I was unconfortable with their 3-5 week waiting period and then this big silence (until I started making changes to it)... but lo and behold, I got my order in the promised time...

They seemed very good at answering their email...

Is this 3-5 week waiting period common when ordering just a spinner?

I had a panel from them... (sorry, should have made that clear ) Anyways, they did respond to email within 24 hours most of the time... (and at odd hours like 9pm etc.)

Well I got a shipping notice today, the spinner is due to be delivered Friday.

Did you get optical joys, because as you can see, they are out of stock.  They may be out of stock of the other ones too, if that's not what you got.  I am a little frustrated by the fact that it is taking so long, but as long as I get em I think I can live with it.

Got my spinner today, five days from the day I ordered it. Pretty darn good service IMO.
