Quick Question about Groovymame Multithreading Config
« on: February 05, 2025, 12:46:46 pm »
Hello,

I noticed way back in 2016 that the Mame devs dropped the multithreading option from Mame and also the config file. This meant that running a createconfig on builds from 2017+ didn't have a "multithreading 0" option in the config.

I was trying to troubleshoot some issues with Groovymame sound on old games and found references to setting "multithreading 1" in the mame config. Does that option do anything on 2017+ builds, or is it obsolete?

Thanks!
