Gun4ir - Mamehooker Trigger Reversed!

Hello all,

I have just started getting into mame hooker. I have a few lights guns (Gun4ir, Sinden, MX24's, and Reapers coming soon).

I started experimenting with Aliens Extermination (Teknoparrot). I'm using my Gun4ir's. At the moment I have everything mostly working.
However, the trigger works in reverse! If I press the trigger it stops shooting, if I release it it starts shooting. I have no idea what is going on.

The guns work perfectly if I don't use mamehooker. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

When you say that it works in reverse, do you mean that the game itself operates that way, or is it just the recoil/rumble on that gun that is activating opposite to what you'd expect?

If you can post the ini file then it may help. If you have anything in the default.ini, then post that too.

If it's only the recoil/rumble that activates in reverse, then you probably have the 0/1 state commands swapped.

@modernfx I have exactly the same issue with my Reapers, did you find a solution?

If you go into the test menu and check inputs you can see it thinks trigger is being held down after its been pressed once. It also registers a special button press. I've messed with the config settings (e.g. flipping inputs) but no joy.

If I don't use Outblaster and Mamehooker the controls are fine but the recall obviously doesn't work properly.

I managed to sort this issue, thanks to some help. I'd mistyped the noinput command for Demulshooter with an s on the end so it was registering those inputs as well. ::)
