  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Original Tron rebuild..
« on: July 29, 2024, 11:43:22 am »
I am finally starting this project I have had for a couple of years!  Rebuilding a Tron cabinet for a local Charity.. This had the infield conversion done to Two Tigers..  I have a Tron control panel and also the full Tron kit from Phoenix Arcade..  I do have the original monitor but I also have a NOS 19" CRT (not sure of the make & model, will have to look). Don't know if it will be plug-n-play for an MCR board though.

A lot of things were stripped out for the conversion, so will have to remake those parts...  I am also going to put a 22" monitor in place of the translite to play random Tron video's..

The MCR boards work, I bought a complete set of GAME and AUDIO ROM's for it.. I also bought the rebuild kits and new ribbon cables from ArcadeShop but thinking it might be best to send this off to someone who knows what they are doing.  I attached pictures of what I am starting with and will update this thread as progress begins.
