Cruis n usa and Cruis n World (MAME) link 2 players?
SailorSat:
You need to point -comm_remotehost to the "other" machine in mame.ini
MotownC:
I cannot get a link on any of the 3 games. I downloaded the new cruisnmame on both machines, set the DIPS, set the -comm_remotehost to the opposite machine, but no link. Both machines are on same network with 192.168.1.x addresses. Firewall disabled. Not sure what else I could be missing.

mhm...
are you sure the ips are correct?
can you ping them?
You could try linking with Virtua Racing - if that does link, your settings are fine.
other than that... "comm_localhost"should be 0.0.0.0 (or the local ip)
"comm_localport" and "comm_remoteport" should be 15112

All 3 work now! Fantastic work! It appears I had separate .ini files for each game. Once those were deleted and it just used mame.ini, the link was complete. Thank you for this - great stuff.

This is amazing thanks.
I'm curious if anyone else with T300rs Thrustmaster is also having issues setting the pedal settings? it's weird. Any other mame works fine. Just this build. I'm really struggling. I've tried using other build nvram cruisnusa folders and that helped a little. I tried recalibrating in test menu multiple times. It's strange. Probably something i'm doing wrong on my end. Just curious if there are any other T300rs users here that could help me troubleshoot. Thanks in advance.
