When you have the glass manufactured you can specify the holes you need in it.

no worries,

They did my glass for FLYNN's,  quite happy with them. Especially the whole "shipping to Canada" bit.

I would think that glass that fits INSIDE the barrel and secured would be better. If that thing tips to the side, that glass is going to slide off, and even if it were secure, it would probably shatter upon impact on the side.

Since people are still posting here as of a few months ago and others are inspired I thought I'd point out something.  If you put the glass on the inside you have more of a risk of spill damage since the edge of the glass is on the inside of the barrel.  The way it is here with the glass extending over the edge you would have less risk of a spilled drink infiltrating into the electrical components.

This is still a cool build by the way.

True, but you really shouldn't be putting drinks on your electronics anyway.

+1 Yots'

Plus, liquid goes where it wants. Even if the glass was overhang vs. inset spilt liquid could crawl around and drip down inside.

I run Space Station, a video game bar in Osaka, Japan, and would absolutely love to purchase "A Barrel of Kong" for my bar.  Is anyone being commissioned to make them?

Check Craigslist for Phoenix. Some yahoo's been trying to sell one for a while.

We had the same a few months back - the guy was having them made in Juarez and bringing them across the border to sell. (can't find the listing right now though)

Did you happen to keep any of the template files and could share them?

I just picked up 2 barrels this morning and am excited to give this project a whirl.  I have been wanting to do an arcade table for years and this one pushed me over the edge.  I have to do it.

Also, do these kits online accommodate the table games ok, meaning, do they flip orientation for each player or is there something I need to look for when buying the game kit?

The 60 in 1 PCB kits have a cocktail setting so it will flip the screen automatically if it is in cocktail mode.  It's in the settings screen (manual will show you how) but yes, it supports flipping.

good afternoon!
I'm new here and I found your project amazing and I'll make one for myself.
I wonder if you used a pc to play the game or used a specific card.
If you used a special badge, could you tell me her name and model?
Hoping to get some hours in on this over the weekend.

Tried and tested technique for me, outlines built in illustrator printed out for $5 at FedEx on the plotter and then stuck down for cutting with a jigsaw.

All the pieces arrived quick from dirt cheap trading co and Amazon.

Using a 'free' 17" Dell 4:3 from work, being IT has its perks. I think it would be fair to say you can get these all day long for $20 on CL

He used a JAMMA multiboard. (pic on page 4 and video on page 5 of this thread)

Unfortunately, Rule 5 prohibits us from answering, or even hinting at, the rest your question because the ROMs on multiboards aren't licensed.

Anyone happen to have this illustrator file?  I know this is an old topic. Worth an ask.

Thank you

This is actually easier to build , no need for CNC or pdf files, just measure your monitor, cut the wood and you'll be fine...
