Niner Showoff 2: My Arcade1up style Dynamo Showcase replica
« on: August 20, 2024, 10:47:18 am »
Hello. I have designed this Dynamo Showcase replica to scale with Arcade1up machines. I have linked an image of my WIP build, and to the Tinkercad design. I hope that someone could take the Tinkercad design and perhaps remake it in a format that is more usable. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/kmpJXCBtlYJ-niner-showoff-2

I am currently working on a 2.1 revision that should fix some issues. It addresses an issue with the monitor stand being too short and having incorrect measurements, along with extending the control panel depth in order to accommodate IL Eurosticks and other sticks that have tall bases. It will still be in Tinkercad, but it should be slightly better.

The updated 2.1 plans are finished. You will notice that the monitor shelf is skinnier and taller in order to allow better viewing angles whilst also fixing an oversight in the original template. An unfortunate side effect is that the front panel for the monitor stand is too short. Therefore, I added a slot with a shelf where you can add speakers, a mini PC/SBC/Console, or whatever else you can think of. Because when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Anyways, the main improvement is that the control panel is now compatible with IL Eurosticks. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jzcBkt69ygk-niner-showoff-21

I have reconfigured my example. It now has a lit marquee, a control panel with an actual decal, and has been set to Street Fighter Alpha 2.
