Email for PM's

I don't appear to be getting email notices when I have a new PM.   Is this a known issue?

Under menu item Modify Profile -- Personal Messaging you'll find "Notify by email every time you receive a personal message:"

Yep.  It is set to "Always."

I checked my Spam folder as well and didn't see anything there.

Same situation. No email received and settings are turned on for PMs.

- Do you get any other e-mails from arcadecontrols.com?

Just enabled it in my profile and sent myself a test PM.  It's working for me.

Cue the default tech advice from the IT Crowd.



Maybe Saint can figure it out.

Could it be related to Gmail?

Not sure how to turn Gmail off and on again.

I get notifications from a few threads here still.  I just turned on notifications for this thread so I'll post if I get one or not.

I don't think gmail is one of the providers that Saint mentioned here as flagging arcadecontrols emails as spam.

The "turn it off and on again" joke was about changing that profile setting and changing it back to see if that fixes it.
- It probably won't work, but it can't hurt to try.

I flipped everything off and back on. Even waited close to 30 seconds. If you or wp34 reply here, I'll see if I get the thread notification.

I do know I got notified the last time the stickied Favorite FE thread in Software was replied to.

Got this one. Haven't received the one from the FE thread yet. I had previously viewed that thread so I should get an email about it being updated also.
