rowe 1k amp repair
« on: April 29, 2019, 11:36:14 am »
I have some 1000 watt Rowe amplifiers (61170002) that another local jukebox operator dropped off for us to have a look at and repair. Unfortunately I was not informed as to what their issue is and was labeled simply "not working" so I suspect he does not know anyway...,..but most likely the output was shorted and the drivers in the output stage or possibly power supply section are blown.

Is there a schematic available for this amplifier for repairs?

EDIT: surprisingly, rowe actually emailed me some schematics. here they are for prosperity's sake.

Hi lilshawn, I just saw your post about the Rowe 1000 Watt amplifiers. Were you successful in repairing them? Would you mind answering a couple of questions?
Thanks, Steve

i did not look any more into them at all, sorry.

basically if i don't have info i need or can't get the info I need right away, i pass on the repair. (as in this particular case) Time is money there is no free time.
