So after messing with the power supply I realized I was reading the power out voltage wrong.  I am getting +5 and -12 out to the Ni-Wumpf board.  I started over only plugging in one display at a time, etc and now when I power on the game I get all displays working and it will display credits.  All of the drop targets pop up on the table but the ball kick, flippers, chimes are not working.  I took the playfield art off and most of the rings but the leaf switches to the drop targets, etc do keep score.  Any ideas on where to start the diagnostic on those?  All fuses including the solenoid fuse are working.

The slings, flippers and chimes not working sounds like it could be an issue with the game over and/or tilt relays on the underside of the playfield.  See http://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Gottlieb_System_1#Solenoids_and_Relays

99.9% chance those relays are fine.  Definitely worth verifying that they are being activated when a game starts, though.  You can also manually activate it (by pushing on it and closing the switches) and see if your flippers and bumpers come to life.

I still think some of the connectors are probably bad going from Ni-Wumpf board to driver board. Now the drop targets don't reset when a new game is credited. I ordered a new harness connecting thwith boards cause I'm too lazy and don't have the parts to do it now. Just thought it was easier that way. I still may upgrade my power supply just to avoid the oberheating... Regarding testing the relays...what do you mean by pushing on it and closing the switches?

PBJ was right all along...bad connectors. I received my new CPU to driver board harness and she fired right up!  Tested the flippers, bumpers, ect and seems like everything is working. Started reinstalling the playfield and rubber ring kit so hopefully I will be good to go.  If I have any issues I'll report back. Thanks to everyone on the forum for suggestions/feedback. Happy gaming!

That's great news, thanks for posting a follow up.
