Suggestions of where to buy virtual pinball finished and nice?
Malenko:
Wanna buy gingerballs? :)

Got to see and play the line up of VPcabs at pinballexpo last weekend. Lets just say I felt sorry for all the wasted wood, wire, TV's and computers. More power to anyone with the ability to play and enjoy that garbage.
good day.

I view vpins much like MAME cabs, its a close approximation to the real thing that will never be the real thing. I had a lot of fun building my mini vpin and my wife and I both enjoy playing it. If I want to play a real pin, I go down to the game room and play a real pin.
Too harsh to just call it garbage but its unrealistic to think a vpin can replace a real one. At minimum you never have to worry about lifting the play-field and moving a bunch of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- just to replace a bulb that burnt out ;)
Titchgamer:
I dunno, mame cabs can be pretty close to the real deal if you want them to be and all the classics play pretty much the same.
Hell to the casual gamer I doubt they would notice any difference.
Pinball though is a different beast completely.
I am planing on building a small VP as I dont really have the room for a proper table (but would buy one now if I did!)
But you cant really replicate the look and feel of a pinball machine on a computer.
They are still fun to play but they dont have the soul of a pinball with all the thumping and banging not to mention that satisfying feel of yanking the plunger lol

But you can. Analog plungers , solenoids, knockers, accelerometer for nudging, the whole nine running the actual pinball ROMs. I dont quite have room for the plunger on my mini but I have solenoids that fire when the pop bumpers, slingshots, and flippers fire. Like I said, its a fun approximation!
