Are PM's working?

I sent someone a message. It does not appear in my Sent Items folder. They did not respond so I have no idea if they got it. I thought maybe my outbox had a limit on the number of messages it would hold so I deleted all my old Sent Items and then sent another message. Still did not show up.

PL1:
PM sent and it showed up in Sent Items.   ;D

Check this PM setting in case it somehow got reset to default. (deselected)

  Preferences - Change Settings - "Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default."

I did receive your PM and replied back. I did not know about that preference. It's unchecked for me. I assume that it has been unchecked since about 2004 since that's when the latest of my Sent Items were at before I deleted them.
