Should a 2015 "I completed my project. I posted a pic and a link" be made?

I'd seen it work on thewayiplay.com years back.  I suggested it then, but it didn't take on.  When yamesuta suggested it I suggested something similar I said I didn't think it would work, but it has worked surprisingly well.
