Coin door wiring help - QD size?
yotsuya:
I'm 100% sure they're .250 connectors. Get the insulated ones.

Yeah, I could but I want to stop on the way home and I forgot to bring it. So I figured I would google and when that failed, ask all of you :applaud:
Thanks all, I'll buy the .250 ones.

If they don't fit, I will personally buy them off of you.
In fact, I get the .250 male and female ends to make quick disconnect between wire runs, especially on things that uses electricity.

I dug up an old post that I made and I'm re-posting it here since I feel it's more relevant:
The Cherry brand uses .187 connectors. Buy the connectors here
The E-Switch brand is slightly bigger and uses .250 connectors. Buy the connectors here
The GGG Microleaf switch (and Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons) uses even smaller .110 connectors! Buy the connectors here
I've pictured them all below for comparison. The Cherry is on the left, the E-switch on the right and the microleaf on the bottom. It's a shame they changed the size of the connectors on the Cherry vs. E-switch. All of the connectors I own are for the original Cherry switch, which is .187.

Well, if everything was working with his wiring on his other switch (which are generally .187), and the door ones are bigger than the other ones (according to him), it stands to reason that he's got .250s on his coin door. That, and experience.
