Thoughts on the scale of this Frogger bartop?

My last build was a full-sized Centipede, so I've never really had to think about scale. I drafted up the attached and was wondering if there was any feedback. It will be a single player, 4-way with 2 buttons. Vertical 17", 4:3 LCD monitor. I'm planning on doing a cardboard mock-up long before I cut any wood, but thought I might be able to save some time if anybody notices some pitfalls.

Thanks in advance!

Okay, with no responses I banged out a cardboard mockup. I was pretty lucky that I had a box that was the proper width. Anyway, I'm pleased with the scale so I think this will be my plan.

The only potential issue I see is if I put those 1 & 2 player buttons on the front face of the CP like the original, then I'll probably run into a conflict with my joystick. I'm planning to use a GGG Leaf-pro which is pretty low profile, but not that low profile.

You'll see me over at Project Announcements soon!

No criticism here but I though the top looked a bit too "top-heavy".  I get the original frogger homage but without the bottom half of the cabinet it just looks a bit off..

Yeah, I kind of thought the same thing when I first drew it up, but when I actually look at the model in person, I don't think it looks so bad.

I'm not sure of the best way to fix it. I'll probably need to add a couple inches to the bottom to give me the room for the switches so maybe that would help.

Thanks for the feedback.
