Help with Tron, DOT, Space Paranoids.. not to late?
thk:
OMG that is a BIG PROJECT. I hope you are very experienced in every aspect of arcade machines if you plan to attempt this build.
Just my 2cents. good luck!
nintendoid:
thanks for the posts guys.... hopefully shouldn't be to hard to get the build using autoCAD and then a CNC cutter for the woodwork. I have a replica DK cabinet so I'm sure with the help from the guys here then hopefully find the resources I need. I'm in the UK so finding a TRON cabinet to help will be almost impossible.
Once the shells are done the fun will be the insides, but going to get the shells built first.
Any other fans/owners can help?
nintendoid:
also anyone know where I can buy replica controls for the panels?
ok found them... http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=319 just need the tracker ball or spinner!!
lamprey:
Depending on which tron game you want to play you may need a push/pull spinner:

Also, not sure if you know already, but if you can't find a "real" tron joystick that replica handle will fit on the Happ Heavy Duty sticks:

Cheers!

It's about right for the wood cuts, now finding a shroud and the curved light covers, and everything thing else - that's the trick of it.
