How to power a Bartop Arcade

(1/2) > >>

gunit:
Hi guys I have been looking into how you can power a bartop arcade and the majority seem to go down the easier option of including 4 gang extension lead inside the unit. I would like to avoid using plugs and the extension bar so I really could do with some guidance, Please see a rough diagram below:-

Can anyone help explain how I can get the ideal solution ?

Like this.

Make sure the BIOS of the PC is set to start on power on. This way you can switch everything on and off using the red mains switch (only power everything down after you shut down the PC with your front end)

Sorry I have another Question, how can I get my (amp/speakers/12v transformer) from Coaxial power connector to a molex connecter so that I can connect to the psu. I was hoping a coaxial to molex existed but have had no luck.

JDFan:
Why not just splice the 2 wires ( one + one - ) from the transformer plug that goes to the amp to the proper 2 wires from the molex connector ( Ground and +12V) and get rid of the molex connection (since you will already have the plug needed to plug into the AMP that can be used to disconnect if needed so the molex is just adding another connection point to fail.

Or buy one of these type connectors  ( http://www.sourcingmap.com/cctv-camera-video-21-55mm-dc-male-connector-power-cable-plug-adapter-p-45708.html ) to use with the 2 molex wires after cutting them

Just cut the wires and use any type of connector (make sure to connect the polarity right !)
