Disabling the filter is kinda hit or miss.  Quoting posts kinda breaks it.  If someone that has the filter turned on quotes a post that has it turned off, it gets censored in the quote box.  I have it shut off and get the *random long-winded streams of text* in quotes.  Annoying.

BTW, you'll still see the wordfilter substitutions when someone with the filter on quotes a post with those words.   :duckhunt
