I would have liked to gone, but didn't know about it in time.
What songs did they play?
Who?
They are a European  rock & roll band from from Denmark.  It's not fair to pigeon  hole their style because they do a wide range.   If you want to try something knew, look them up on YouTube, the full albums are available there.

I went to an Anvil concert two weeks ago.  Including staff and members of the opening acts, there were 40 people there.  Most depressing thing I ever saw... and I left early.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

If it had been around here, I could've brought a group close to half that.  We love the documentary, no matter how terrible Lips sings.

As for Volbeat, I worked in a music store, sold their stuff, but have no clue about them or how they sound.
Introducing The Tone Ledger, a premium 5x7 inch, 100 pg notebook designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists...pretty much anyone who enjoys using amps and pedals. Great for experienced musicians, hobbyists, or students just getting started.

Their entire stage persona is, "man, I've met famous people.  I coulda been famous, man."

Granted, it was a Tuesday night, and Houston is many things but it's not unpopulated.

 It was sad and embarrassing.

I'll give Volbeat a listen.
