Show us your OLD cabs that are still going strong....
Minwah:
Started this in 2003 (or 2004?). Seem to remember putting the sideart on in 2007 and that was it basically finished. However it took me until late 2012 to finish the artwork for 3 out of the 4 control panels...
This pic is fairly recent but I have since painted the speaker panel with satin paint (instead of gloss), and replaced the start buttons with black ones. The coin door is gloss which I would like to sort out at some point.
Apart from replacing a microswitch on one of the joysticks the machine hasn't missed a beat! :)

Not built, more like assembled. This is my Pro Play home arcade cabinet that I've had since 1988. It's sitting next to my Mini Williams in my post above. These pics are from the late 90's with it sitting alongside my first MAME cabinet, which was the LuSid design. The ProPlay houses a 20" Wards TV and original NES. My kids like to play Duck Hunt on it. I still have the original side art that I never installed.

FTFY.
Do they need to be MAME cabs? I still have my MKII I bought like 10 years ago, and shes purrin like a kitten /jinx

Probably needs to stay DIY cabs or else a whole lot of us can post pics of really old games still working.
IG-88:
Ya, I was thinking more along the lines of scratch built machines. Especially the hardware aspects of it. It never ceases to amaze me how this electronic stuff can still function after the abuse it's had. Most of my stuff has come to me used already and then I get a-hold of it... ::)
