Artwork glue?
Connorsdad:
What glue would you guys recommend for sticking down my upper and lower monitor bezels?
I have tried pva glue which welted up (cant think of a better word), one new piece and another £20 down the swan later I have now tried pritt stick, this too is welting :(
The upper bezel will be stuck straight to mdf whereas the bottom bezel will be stuck to foam core board.

What material are you're bezels made out of? I work for a sign/printing company. To adhere most media types to foam core, we use 3M spray adhesive. Don't bother trying to use it on the MDF though unless you seal it first. The MDF will soak up most water based adhesives like a sponge if it isn't sealed or painted. Another option would be contact cement (like what is used to adhere melamine to MDF or particle board). I wouldn't recommend it for the foam core though, as the solvent will melt the foam if it comes into contact with it. I can grab a can of the 3M spray adhesive and get you a part number for it if that would be helpful. It's the best stuff we've found in 60yrs for mounting to foam core.
I'm on the other side of the pond, so I can't help you much with locating where to buy anything....
Connorsdad:
The bezel material is really thin, looks like ordinary glossy photo paper. The part number would be helpful, thanks :)

Home Depot and lowes carry 3m spray adhesive right by glue.
It comes in a few strengths. I would think light strength would work fine
Sorry, just noticed your not in the us.
Assuming maybe you have Home Depots and lowes

sounds like your problem is the artwork is absorbing the water in the glue and getting all rippled on you.
the 3M "Super 77" spray glue is probably your best bet. I would recommend you change the tip to the red tip (can comes with 2 types a white flat spray tip and red round tip) and give your bezel a fairly light dusting (should take about 6 seconds.) from about 30 to 50 cm away...wait about 30 seconds or so then apply the artwork. you want to work pretty fast because the glue will dry in about a minute. I wouldn't spray directly on the art itself, or the solvents in the glue when you first apply it will cause the paper to absorb it.
you basically want to just hold the art in place. it's not structural or anything, you just need to keep it from falling off.
once it's applied don't try to lift it off or you'll make a huge mess so make sure you get it right on the spot. once the solvent burns off (about 2 or 3 minutes), it's good to go.
