EL Tape would work well but you would have to remove the barb completely and adhere the molding in some other fashion.

I think the best bet would be a black-light reactive type of t-molding. I'm not sure any sort of lighting would ever diffuse the way we'd ever want it to. But good try, Chance. :cheers:

From my own testing with LEDs behind my marquee, I found that they need to sit back at least 1.5" to be fully diffused. So I'm not sure how you'd get this to work other than having some plastic in your cabinet (or the whole cabinet made out of plastic) and backlighting that with the LEDs set back. I don't think it's possible to make the LED t-molding idea fully diffused though.
