Naomi Cabinet with PC switch

(1/2) > >>

bimm25e:
SO I just picked up a MvC2 cabinet running on a NAOMI with a Cart in an older Dynamo Cabinet (looks like it had SFII in it back in the day, cause it still has the kit control panel overlay)

I want to maybe put a PC in it with MAME and Im wondering :

1. if I can use the JVS/JAMMA switch to plug like a KVM into and swap between the pc and NAOMI video inputs.

2. I was wondering if there were 4 player control panels available for these games as well, I Want to say I've seen them that like sit on top of the side rails of the dynamo cab.

the cabinet now, looks the same as this > http://www.severdhed.com/images/dynamo1.JPG

3. Is there a good way to hookup the buttons so that I can use the same control panel for the PC and NAOMI without causing problems?

Holy ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- that's creepy. There is a cat in your machine.

Your cab looks too small for 4-player control panel.

haha excellent catch but that's not MY cabinet just a picture of the same.

I was hoping there was an option to put something like this >

Or is there something special the cabinet would need to add the 4 player CP

Paladin:
Not sure what you mean by 'JVS/JAMMA switch'.  You might want to read up on the NAOMI system, here's a great place to start:

Cabinet is too small and has the wrong monitor angle for a 4 player panel. The guys on the side will have a hell of a time seeing the screen for the 5 minutes they play before the giant poking out control panel acts like a lever and flips the cabinet over onto the players.
