How to fasten Cp top down?
Connorsdad:
How are you guys keeping the top of your control panel in place?
I've tried using these but they're not very good at all.

I tried to use those on a 3/4 scale cab that I built for my nephew and they released way too easy.
In that cab, the CP was open to the inside of the cab, so I just used L-brackets and screwed them in.
You can probably find something similar to the real clamps at the hardware store.
The CP top on my current build isn't fastened down yet and can't be accessed from inside.
I'd originally planned to put a hinge on the front edge and a latch on the back.
But since I love tinkering and fine tuning things, I'm leaning toward some type of slot system that allows it to be removed completely.
(It would have to be lifted straight up several inches to be removed.)
