Very best gun for mame?
(1/1)
MartinJames:
Im fed up of wasting my money now. 4 Aimtracks and a cheap IR gun, all are pretty rubbish. I am using a Show case Cab with a 37" LED and am now just want the very best guns.
Any ideas anyone? I really don't care if they cost a lot, but I want them to be right and work properly.
Thanks All.

If you want more accurate, you need a CRT and real light guns.
There isn't anything comparable for an LCD screen.
Aim-Trak is as good as anything out there for an LCD screen.
If you aren't happy with it, you won't be happy with anything else currently available.

Damn! I was hoping there was a bluetooth version that was better. OK ILl give up for now and get a larger rear projection cab for dedicated games

The newer arcade games (ie Terminator salvation, Rambo, and another... can't recall the name) are using showcase cabinets with LCD screens. One of them had IR blaster circling the monitor - I think ten total?
So if IR tech has become good enough for arcade use, what are we doing wrong with the "home" version of Aim Trak?
