Well I had a bit of a go again the other night, and made a little more headway;
2'34"799 :
Then took a smidgen off of that,
2'34"575 :
And then a tad more,
2'34"345 :
Notice how I completely messed up the last lap :banghead:
Hats off to -1 for a stonking time, think I've done my best but may have a spare hour tonight to have a final furore...
ant2:
managed to play this for a few hours a couple of weeks back -
dont think im going to get a chance to improve it before this finished... bah
BadMouth:
Congratulations to Negative1 with a winning time of 2min:34.109 sec!

I'll get it posted up on the leaderboard later tonight.
YOU GET TO PICK THE NEXT GAME AND TRACK!
Just reply here with your pic and I'll make the next competition thread.
Anyone have any feedback regarding changes to be made for the next round?
I'd planned to reduce the time frame to two weeks, but now I'm thinking about sticking with three weeks.
negative1:
cool,
well that was fun.
i played some more, but am having some trouble with my
controller, so i couldn't improve on it.
i'm leaning towards virtua racing, track 3 (expert), acropolis.
this is the game, that got me back into arcade racing.
i pumped so much money ($1) at a time into this,
and we used to play 8 player races at dave and busters arcade.
also, another place had tournaments for money, which i would
play and win quite a few for awhile. and that was on the long
15-20 lap races.
i'll post a screenshot of the settings.
is it ok to put up a MAME game, or do you guys prefer to
stick with the M2 emulator games. (i have sega rally as
a backup game, in case).
later
