Yep. Check out the Two-Headed Beast in my signature. Cheap Chinese RGB strips, an LED-Wiz, and LEDBlinky is how I set up my cabinet lighting that can change based on game selection, and machine events such as pause, game loading, front end, and sound reactive. I've got about $45 in the cabinet lighting on that machine.

Man I would love to run LED Blinky..im a sucker for flashy lighting. After I finish up setting up Hyperspin I might look into it.

I saw this, it looked neat but IDK about using batteries instead of plugging it in to the wall http://www.amazon.com/GrayBean-11ft-Glowing-Strobing-Electroluminescent/dp/B005LY5DDO/ref=sr_1_14?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1360949305&sr=1-14&keywords=red+led+strips

PL1:
Why not use a 120V AC - 3V DC "wall-wart" like this?

Scott

As long as somebody tells me exactly what adapter to buy im up for it..im a noob with electricity and fear burning the house down.

Nephasth:
With LED strips, you just tap into your computer's power supply. No need for a power adapter.
