What am I forgeting?
LASmith132:
What am I missing for buttons?
Player 1, Coin
Player 2, Coin
8-way, 6 buttons(SF style)
8-way, 6 buttons(SF style)
Save, Load, Start, Select, Esc, Pause - buttons.
The "Select" buttons would only be for NES,SNES, and Sega emulating.
What do you think
my system will only play: mame, NES, SNES, Sega
Thanks!

Doesn't look like you're forgetting anything egregious in terms of controlling a front-ended emulation setup.
That said, "Which (if any) admin buttons on a control panel?" is one of the seemingly more divisive and oft-argued topics on this board ... you may get more than you bargained for by asking! :laugh2:
Personally, I use shifted keys for any "admin" buttons (save, load, pause, etc.) At the very least, if your CoinUp and PlayerStart buttons are already on your control panel (as opposed to on a coin door or something), I'd have them run double duty as your console emulator Select and Start buttons.

Just promise us not to make something that resembles Darth Vader's chest plate or a completed game of connect four.

For admin buttons in MAME, I like to use: Enter, Esc, Tab (admin menu) and Pause.
