New joysticks for fighting games
cloaknite:
Maybe I will buy the JLF and see how it turns out on shooters, if it is really that bad I can mod them :D My problem now is, how do I use the JLF with a 3/4 plyboard?

A router is your friend.

Stock JLF's are best for fighters, horrible for shooters. It will be one of the best for shooters, and a fantastic all-around stick, with the mod, but be warned that it's pretty bad for shooters as stock.

Sorry, missed your question. You can either route a slot into the top of the cp board for the normal JLF mounting plate as in the link above, or use an s-plate to install from the bottom. I did to the top mounting method on my portable sticks, and I have to remove the top plexi to totally remove the stick. I'll be switching to an s-plate on future projects to make things more convenient.
Either way, be sure that the shaft will protrude the correct height from the top of the CP. Read slagcoin.com for details. I prefer the stock specified height; others prefer a custom height. You should be making a few quick and dirty test panels to play-test with all these different variables, especially button layout, before settling on a final panel.

You mean you want some - versus that there are some on the market.
