Dual LCD Setup for new Mame Cabinet?
« on: January 09, 2013, 01:25:47 pm »
Is this possible?  Sorry for the question if it has been answered.

But I am currently planning to build a stand up MAME cabinet.  My intention is to hopefully utilize two 19" LCDs in the cabinet.   My goal is to have them stacked on top of each other(so to speak) the top would have instructions for the game controls and the bottom would actual be the game play screen.  Like "Punch Out."   The video card I think i am using does have DVI and VGA out so I am good on that side of things but does MAME or other emulators recognize that type of setup?   I feel this would be very handy as I would like to do Mame, NES, NES and Sega Genesis all on the same box.

Thanks for any info in advance

I use a setup like this but with a 7" USB monitor as the 2nd output.

The way I had to do it was use CPWizard to make and export templates and then call Marquee Magician via the launch script for my Front End (Hyperspin).

I think I saw this was possible in Game Ex but I have not made it that far yet...HS?  No way that thing is too immersive  :)
