Forget the arcade version.   :puke

The Apple 2 version is WAY better IMHO.

BONUS: The Apple 2 series systems are really easy to set up and use in MESS.

Curious what you find better?  Usually I much prefer the originals, and I was using the C64 version for a while, but the arcade version has better graphics (although I definitely have a soft spot for the original graphics), I like how you don't have to press a button just to stand still, and technically the fact of being able to save the high score through MAME Is nice.  And between Lode Runners I-IV you pretty much get all the same levels.

ive got a few

Stadium Hero '96

A fun and easy baseball game

Cool Riders

It's like Crusin had a baby with Outrun

Bang bead, Flipshot and Windjammers

All three are different but they are all basically variants of pong

They are both really awesome games that you should at least give a try. The second one is just slightly more awesome.

Yeah, DoDonPachi is the best shooter I've ever played.  I like it more than even the other DonPachi sequels that came after it (Black Label or whatever it's called).  They just never seemed to match those wicked cab-rattling explosion sounds from DDP, which make me grin every time.

Some other games I've discovered recently...

Horizon - Moon Patrol Shmoon Patrol... give this one a try!

Eggs - Addictive as hell

Zoo Keeper - underrated as hell

Fastlane - like Dodge 'Em on Atari 2600, only much cooler

Magical Crystals

Funky Jet - I have no idea why this one is fun, but I keep going back to it.
