I've dropped a few game-soundtracks into a "music" folder under the mamewah directory, and after editing my emulator's config file, the music starts right away
when I launch mamewah from windows. However, whenever I boot
directly into mamewah (instead of explorer.exe), the background music refuses to play. If I quit to windows and reopen mamewah in this scenario, the music starts playing!
Is there some audio driver that needs explorer.exe to load? Has anyone else run into the situation??..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. on an unrelated note, I can't get my joystick to register when playing asteroids... The fire/thrust buttons work fine, but I can't
move! Does this have something to do with the fact that asteroids is a vector-based game?
