Black Coin Door Lock

<< < (2/2)

I'm not sure how great paint will hold up. I was hoping I could find one that was anodized. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try the paint route. Especially if it saves me some $$ in the long run. I have a wire wheel which can prob remove some of the chrome finish that's on the current lock. I think the paint would stick better to bare metal. Thx to everyone for the input!

eds1275:
Do you remove your keys all the time? I just leave mine in the lock.

gamepimp:
In general, I leave the keys out. I only use them whenever I need to access components behind the coin door (usb cables, power cables, etc.).

mcseforsale:
I leave mine out so I don't have to hear them.  Also, I don't want the "ring" of wear around the lock on the coin doors or the back door.
