Like I said i had no hicups just buy intel its in a different league then AMD. Here is a system under $400 minus the hard drive no need for anything else. best bang for the buck, i wouldnt waste time with any hard drives, prices still way to high use and older one for now Runs every game that is 100% playable http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.864873&cm_sp=DIY_PC_Combos-_-864873-_-Combo
You can actually buy the i5 2500k at micro center for $179.00 but i think it store only purchase and even cheaper with mobo combo yikes!!!!!!!

That combo you linked is $462.00 and you have to take the SSD to get the full discount, your also missing a PSU which is going to add another $35-$100 depending on the quality you go for. As for my hiccup's I've already found that it's the old HDD i was using, it was a 1st gen 1tb WD green 5400rpm drive, I'm now useing a seagate sata2 7200rpm 500gb, and no longer have hiccup's i'm re-installing driver's and what not but I've figured out now how to O/C the APU and am sitting at 3.2ghz on the stock cooler at 38c idle, needless to say i have no more hiccups.
Diet_Pepsi:
So at 3.2ghz you are able to run blitz/Gauntleg/sfrush @ 100%? If so that's great news for the APU platform.

Although I am running a 2500k now I used to run AMD systems all the time and had no issues with stability.

That's the deal that I got -- ended up with the 2500k and a x-fire ASRock for like $245.

Looks like at stock timings he was able to run it at 100 percent. Interesting.
kalars123:
yes at stock speeds it would run between 95-100%, O/C it stayed closer to 100% the majority of the time I got this combo in the hopes of saving space/money over a normal CPU/Video card, as it sits now i'm more or less happy with it, but if I were to do it again I would just get a standard CPU and video card i've been running into nothing but problems with this APU everything from the system just crashing, to failing to install windows I had re-install windows something like 5 times last night.
