Hall of Fame for Games with Cool Controls
pinzach:
Added a 2nd Hall of Fame on my MAMEBlog. It's for games that have appeared as "Game of the Day" that have cool or unusual control schemes. They are all the MAME version, so they do not benefit from their arcade cabinet hardware uniqueness, but all have interesting ways to control the action that make them fun even in MAME.
If you know of other obscure games with unique or weird ways to use the controls (js or spinner or trackball or buttons), post it here.
Check out the new Hall of Fame if you'd like...

Can't access your blog from work anymore...
But a couple dedicated games that have unique controls are Strata Bowling and Slick Shot. The player rolls a cue ball under an IR sensor instead of using a trackball.

That's pretty sweet, don't know if I've seen those. Maybe they'll have them at the next show I go to.
Le Chuck:
I've been visiting your site pretty regularily now, more often when you post stuff like this, so kudos. I dig it.
There's no good way to say this so here goes. I notice you make reference to using one's wang to pound buttons upon occasion. I have never tried this. It is perhaps that I am ill equiped to do so or just haven't liked a game enough to enable this feat. I don't even know how one would approach such an endeavor. So... um... well you can see where my question is going here right? Just don't make me ask, it's too embarrasing.
Nephasth:
Well, if you happen to have a prehensile wang, you can use it to operate your joystick... ;)
