MORE freaking display problems!

This is starting to get really old...I just bought a new video card from Newegg. It is a Jaton Video-PX558-DLP. When I first put it in my computer, Windows displayed perfectly on my TV via the component port. No emulators worked because I hadn't installed drivers yet. So I went and installed a driver. When the computer restarted, I saw the BIOS screens, it looked like it was about to load as I saw the Windows XP loading screen, and then went to a scrambled mess of colors... So here is what I did after that...

-I tried booting in Safe Mode. It worked.
-Went to Device Manager, then to Display and uninstalled the driver.
-Restarted Computer
-Did not display Windows as it previously had done
-Restarted again and went back into safe mode
-Installed an older driver
-Same Problem

So now I don't even know how to display Windows without being in safe mode even though before I installed anything, it displayed with no problems. Any ideas how to fix this?

Which driver did you uninstall?

It didn't say VGA driver by any chance?

Looks to be a decent 8400 variant with component out.

Have you tried getting the latest Nvidia drivers?

The first one I installed was 285.58 and the second one was 266.58. Since I can't get the tv to display anything even after uninstalling the driver, it makes me wonder if there is another file or something installed that I need to delete. I am not much of a computer person beyond basic computing skills and it doesn't make sense to me why the picture looks fine in safe mode.

I think I have determined that it has something to do with resolution. I did manage to make it display in a way where the part of the screen that should have been on the right was on the left and vice versa and I could read text. I can't fogure out how I did that, but that did happen. With the resolution set for 640x480 there is a picture that is scrolling. I am not sure how to fix this, but I feel like I am getting close. Anyone have ideas?

I am still messing around with this and seeing what I can figure out. I did manage to get back to where I can use Windows clearly. However, if I install the driver, I can't get a picture to display anymore. Since I do not have DirectX installed, I can not play any games. If I do install a driver and plug the computer into my LCD TV, I can get a perfect picture. Any suggestions?
