PS3 using a headset/mic
« on: October 27, 2011, 06:32:42 pm »
I have sound cancelling headphones that I wear when I play. Last night for the first time in over a year I decided I wanted to use my Bluetooth to warn people about snipers in BF2. The bluetooth was dead and the power cord for it was all chewed up. I was thinking about buying a new cord at lunch today but started thinking that I’ll never use it. In fact the more I think about it the more I realize that nobody uses a headset.

Does anyone with a PS3 use a headset?

If I’m wearing head phones, could I just prop up and use a Rockband mic to talk?

Are you just talking at the other players or are people talking to you too?

Mod Nation seems to be the only game I have where I hear people talking and all I hear from them is "WTF" or just plain “F” whenever they get knocked off the track.

I wonder if in multiplayer games people with headsets are put into squads with other people with head sets.

BF3 was released yesterday so last night I was one of the best players in BF2. I’ll wait for BF4 to be released before buying BF3.
