Im now noticing that playing games such as Robotron, the diagnals are hit a bit too easy.  I find it hard to just go left, right, up down :dunno  Im using the square gates.  Should i upgrade to the round ones?

Jack Burton:
The square gates may seem awkward at first in fighting games, but once you get used to them you won't want anything else.  A lot of fighting game players have tried the octo gates, but they almost all eventually go back to the stock design.  It's just too helpful to be able to ride the gate and find diagonal corners easily.

interesting. i saw octagional for the JLF , but the harder spring sounds like a good idea. How much beter is it?

Yea, the octagonal restrictors I used are for the U360s, which sucks because they're $14 a pop due to the additional hardware that is included for the U360's pcb. The harder springs I used are also from Ultimarc, after installing them the sticks feel much more solid which makes them feel like a higher quality stick.
