Best way to dispense/ store tokens?

<< < (4/5) > >>

Hoopz:
Have X come do it for you.  He was the change boy in an arcade for awhile.  Just make sure to help him count out the tokens.    :P

Donkbaca:
I thought about the hip change thing, but I only need quarter size...

Thinking about making one.  You can get quarter sized forstner bits,  thinking about making a base with a drawer 4 tokens thick, then mounting a copper or brass pipe with the internal diameter about the size of the tokens to the top of it....

drventure:
The copper pipe and tray idea was what I was going to suggest. Put a lid on the tray that covers the back half so when you pull it forward, the tokens are blocked from falling, and you'll always get a set number (maybe, I could still see things jamming).

I wonder if an antique gumball machine could work, you may have to drill out or otherwise enlarge the ball opening on the inside, and you'll likely get more than 4 tokens at a time, but there may be a way to avoid that even...

Vigo:
Maybe this sort of dispenser would work. You could fit it with your own sign, or use no sign at all.

dfmaverick:
Some of the Kwik Koin old fashion coin dispensers show up on ebay from time to time for cheap. As you can see from the photo, they come in a couple denominations. The quarter one may work if you can find one...or build something similar. I believe they dispense a set number per pull so the thickness of the token may screw it up.
