cutting keyboard questions.

vintagegamer:
I needed to be able to cut down the length of a keyboard in order to fit it into the console area of my Monaco GP cockpit, and I used info from the following link to do it:

http://www.wikihow.com/Cut-the-Number-Pad-off-a-Keyboard

I have successfully trimmed down the keyboard so it will fit in the console, but now I am trying my best to fold the trace membranes under the unit so that they will be clear of getting used, and also not broken or damaged at the same time.

I was just wondering if anyone else has done this before, and if so, how they went about bending back the original trace membranes successfully?

I think I'll be able to pull the project off but wanted to hear other feedback on it as well.

Thanks!

Thanks for your generous offer, LS- The area where the keyboard is to be located only allows for a board of around 11" in length.  Do you know the size of this keyboard that you have?

lilshawn:
it is 11 5/8" by 5 3/4" and 1 1/4" high at it's highest point (with the legs folded down)

the model # is ACK-595 if you want to google it up
