Looking for Certain Pushbuttons
Mrephunk:
Hey all, need some help in finding some push buttons. I am looking for some small 18mm push buttons like the ones found on the MK PDP Fight Pad used for the buttons to the left and right of the start and select buttons? I am also looking for these IL Pushbutton - MK Fightstick Tournament Stick - Mod - eBay (item 260776821408 end time May-02-11 13:28:35 PDT) I msged the seller, but I am only looking for the red based translucent ones and if he can't provide those I would like to know where to get them. Ohh and on totally different note what exactly is the best joystick and restrictor plate to emulate the arcade MK feel?

Everything I have read says HAPP Competition are the best replacements for the real arcade machines. We offer them at the store. We inspect them thoroughly to make sure there are no problems (and fix them if any are found). No restrictor plate is needed.
However, I may actually have some that are closer. My research turned up a photo of an original MK stick which showed a large, square actuator, and I immediately recognized it as looking like the one on some sticks I had in storage. So I dug one out and they were very, very similar. We never offered them because they have a pretty strong spring return, but that also appears to be a sought after quality for MK. So long story longer, these look and feel about as close to the real deal as you'll likely find.
I don't know how many I have (edit: just checked, about 25), or the colors I have (looking at a blue one now), but if you are interested, drop me an email, or use the contact function at the website. I'll be happy to offer them to any MK panel builders out there for $12 each, plus shipping. For $2.95 more, I can also replace the switches on them, and make them nice and quiet as well.

I have looked at paradise, lizardlick, and groovygamegear but I can't find the black buttons with translucent rim. That is specifically what I am looking for.
Nephasth:
Currently none of the vendors offer those buttons in that configuration yet. You would have to buy a translucent button and a black button and swap parts out. That's what I did.
