U360 - do you use the pin harness for output or just USB?
TopJimmyCooks:
It's basically a Knievel clone cp with a mechanically restricted 4 way. Believe it or not it's increasing the WAF. She wants ms pac man.
Vanilla- inputs are covered by ipac but i did use the button inputs on my first mock up CP. I just got into a lot of trouble having 2 usb joysticks, plugging, unplugging, joystick number order, etc. The same issue DrVenture is working on.
With the Ipac, optiwiz, u360 I will end up with keyboard plus 1 joystick plus 1 mouse in the end.

Why not go with the top mount restrictor for the 360 . Then you can get the 4 way mechanical restriction with just a twist..and mapping

I saw that come out, but I was already down the road with a recessed top mount solution. I am interested in the product but I have two concerns: first, strange appearance; and second, I have the habit of resting my hand on the top surface of the panel and wrapping my fingers around the joystick, instead of resting palm on top, especially when playing analog stick games. I like to keep that area streamlined - I even have done a lot of PITA work to get dustwashers under the top surface for that reason.
I think that restrictor is going to work great for undermount situations and cut down on the dedicated four/8 ways in the future.
