A decent dual core machine with 2-4gb of ram.  I'm running an AMD X4 5200 @ 2.8ghz with 2gb of ram.  Of course the more PC you can throw into your cab, the more MAME games become playable and more emulators you can run.

I'll take it off your hands if you want.

You forgot to mention that arcade monitors are becoming extinct and the supply is far less than demand. Don't take advantage of misinformed people, it's not polite.

FYI - You don't have to use the shiny/bling.  HyperSpin can look as simple as Mala or any other front end out there.  However, a p4 isn't going to run HyperSpin at full settings.

It wasn't a criticism. Hyperspin is very impressive, just not my thing that's all.

Oh, I wasn't taking it as criticism at all.  I just stating that HS can pretty much look however you want it.  If you want it flashy and animated it can be, if you want simple it can be that as well.  Not many people really realize that.

Oh, I spent quite alot of money getting that 9500. The first one I ordered came in defective. This one has had multiple fans blowing across the chassis since it was installed. I know lightguns have changed, but do the old actlabs (usb) still work with the newer mames?

This weekend I've got to download some frontends and start playing around with them.

Later,
dabone
