Pc game on a front end software
« on: October 26, 2010, 01:31:09 pm »
I am not sure if this can happen or not, but is it possible to have your front end read from a game that is on a virtual drive on your pc? If so which front end does it best? I have NFL Blitz pc version.  :banghead:

Sure, I'd guess that any frontend should be able to...  I know you can easily add support for it in HyperSpin if you are familiar with AHK scripting.  If not one of our AHK Gurus would be able to figure it out in no time.

nearly any frontend that support PC games can do its. Howover there might require a wrapper for each game to been runable, etc one using AHK script and such. All they normally does is invoke a shortcut or batfile.
Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.

Great it sounds easy LOl  ::) But I am not too sure about that scripting, I could do it if I had a template I guess. Can anyone help on the scripting? Please? :dizzy:

Same deal with Maximus Arcade.  Just make a shortcut in windows to the .exe and dump it in a folder.  The front end will pick it up.  Check out this topic:  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=104725.0

NFL Blitz PC is mentioned there too.
