Smash Tv sound problem

Definitely no -5v, i double checked.  I will wire that in directly tonight, if anyone knows what that missing wire is, i would appreciate that as well.

Yep, mine was distorted too before I used the -5v connection.  I'm almost positive that's what it is.

I'll check my machine tonight when I get home and let you know.  In the meantime, I'm going to try to dig up some pics that I sent via e-mail to Bob Roberts (he's a vendor that makes cables and such for boards among other things).

Also, did you grab the manual for the PCB?  If I recall, there's a typo in there for -5v and where it's connected.  I'll look into it.

As for the typo in the manual... Found it:  The manual has -5v mis-labeled as +5v for pin # 6 on the J2 connector (diagram 3-22 on page 54 of the pdf file) but correct in the other diagrams.

Also, check your ribbon cable, I can't tell, but it looks like you may have it connected wrong.  Make it match my pics above.  These pics were taken from a working setup.

BINGO!  GOOD LUCK, YOU'LL NEED IT!!  that is what i heard after i connected the -5V.  Thanks everyone, now i just have to find those pleasure domes!   ;D
