Thanks for that great review!  Unfortunately, you confirmed the one thing that I was fearing..."XP recognises the gun as an additional mouse".  I'm still looking for a two player gun setup that will work with XP and so far it appears there still isn't such a beast yet.  :'(  

BTW,  I really like your control panel and cabinet design.  Looks really sharp!  ;)
