Pinball Emulation
Dazz:
HyperPin is designed for a vertical screen rotation and is a standalone frontend opposite of HyperSpin. If you are using a 4:3 screen in a MAME cabinet you will want to stick with HyperSpin or whatever front end you are using.
As far as emulators aka simulators go there is Visual Pinball and Future Pinball. Visual Pinball allows for accurate re-creations of existing tables using roms and DMD screens. Future Pinball is known for it's Original table creations and for fairly accurate EM table recreations. Unfortunately while the Future Pinball sim visually out shines Visual Pinball it fails in the physics section. Where Visual Pinball isn't as pretty as Future Pinball the physics tend to be more realistic.

We are going to be working on a HyperPin specific site in the future that will have wheel image downloads. The HyperPin wheel images can be used in HyperSpin, but more than likely you will need to resize them for HyperSpin. The HyperPin wheel size is much larger than HyperSpin and using larger than recommended wheel images will make HyperSpin slower.

Thanks for the reference Bob ;)
Also with Visual Pinball, don't forget you will have to load each table once initially in the VP editor to get by the disclaimer and rom nag screen. Once you click on "I Agree" it will remember it and save it in your registry for that table. I learned this the hard way wondering how come when I tried to launch a table in HyperPin and nothing would happen because the nag screen was in the background stuck.
Here is a good source and where I get most of my wheel art if a media pack isn't available for the table I am adding to my collection of ever growing VP tables. It's not in english but I think you will figure it out.
