HotRod and X-arcade for cheap(er)

I was in J and R here in NYC on Saturday and what appeared before my eyes :o, but stack of the Hot Rod and x-Arcade controllers.  They were each about $150.  That seems like a substantial savings off the direct price plus no shipping charge if you buy in-store.  Next month will be another support downtown Manhattan no sale-tax period and that sweetens the deal even more.  You can also get the X-arcade through J and R's website as well as an x-arcade tp PS2 adapter , but the Hot Rod doesn't seem to be listed, yet.
