front ends for without the roms?

Legal ROMs, game compliations that can be purchased, and the hundreds if not thousands of remakes and arcade like games out there that can all be run without breaking copyright. On top of that they're violating the MAME-Dev wishes and license.

Personally, I like for this community to stay on the underground.  Selling ROMs on ebay is a form of mainstream exposure that I really don't want.  As long as we are only exchanging the roms for free between each other, copyright owners are more likely to look the other way.

What this guy is doing may seem harmless enough, but if it was just let to go as far as it could go, then in a few months you would see websites selling full-on MAME installations with official art and high production values.  A commercial product.  That sort of thing would cause copyright owners to come down hard on the community.

I'd appreciate the links being removed.  You're just giving the scumbag free advertising.  Seems he's local ......

Getting Ebay to act in a timely manner is difficult, that's why there are a lot of companies pissed off with them because they make you jump through hoops all the time.  Aside their whole idea that everybody must use PayPal etc.  I'm at the point of considering them, and PayPal (which they own now) to be little better than common criminals anyway. Both of them are horrible, horrible companies to deal with.
