Kangum:
anyone make their own bezel before ? what material did you use, something like poster board or picture mat ?

RobbyMac:
There is a detailed post/instructions here on making a bezel from poseterboard/foamboard. try searching 'make your own bezel' or something.

I used those instructions as a guideline to making my own. But I made a framework of it to compensate for the curve on my tv face.
check my project in my sig for pics.

Pixelhugger did.  His instructions are HERE.  It should be pretty easy to duplicate.

ark_ader:
You could use black gator-board.

Nice and easy to cut.

Kangum:
cant use gator-board. it has to be thin enough to fit between a piece of glass. The obvious solutions like a piece of poster board is not the correct shade of black.

today I went to michaels and had them cut me 2 pieces of black Mat frame. it looks just ok. I wanted it to completely blend in with the underlay. but unfortunately its a different shade of black then my underlay. The only thing I can think of is to have someone cut me whatever material that is that goes under the cocktail glass. I need 2 strips. I wonder if i could buy Just a black blank sheet of it.

I will look up those links also and see what others have used.
